Drew Barrymore covers Elle // August 2010
Proenza Schouler's latest exclusive: the Shibori...
They had this limited edition tie-dye tank but have now released the Shibori tank.
Available in green, black or pink, $175 @ Proenza Schouler
Jessica Biel ditched the beach hair and opted instead for a sleek look for the Versace dress she wore to the Berlin premiere of “The A Team”
This is my least favorite of all her promotional looks.
I don’t think it suits her.
Jessica Alba in France.
Obsessed.
Kanye West was in my dream last night.
Not even sure what that is supposed to mean.
Victoria and David Beckham // July 28th.
Stellar.
Note to all my female followers who live in LA: today’s Groupon is for a blowout (and wash, and scalp massage) at the Dry Bar for $20 (usually $35). If you haven’t already joined Groupon, today’s the day!
[via georgiaisyourfriend]
This is a fucking awesome deal.
Go go go!
Leighton Meester style
I find her personal style a bit rough but I like these last couple of looks:
Also fond of the mix of designers: Celine, Chloe Sevigny for Opening Cremony, Derek Lam, Miu Miu.
The romper (which I looooooove) is Kettle Black
and is on sale for $49.50 @ Shopbop (with sizes S-L still available!)
They closed the Free City Supershop in Malibu to open Ron Herman Mens instead?
What!!!!
Jessica Simpson has so much potential.
I have always thought this.
And on occasion she reminds me of this.
But most of the time she looks like a crazy ho.
Yesterday she chose to remind me.
I’m feeling the flared jeans.
Blake’s Chanel dress is not custom.
It is Resort 2011.
Sorry I did not include that.
But.
Here you go.
RE: My Riller & Fount dress
I know, I know a lot of you are eager to get your hands on it but unfortunately I bought this dress around 2 years ago when I first heard about the brand. And I didn’t get a photo of the back but it ties in the most adorable way so it’s sort of open back…sorry to add salt to the wound but this dress is really that adorable.
Riller and Fount has AWESOME...
Olivia Palermo for ASOS // August 2010
With fall (kinda) starting to loom
[even though it’s just starting to feel like summer in LA]
my dreams have been peppered with pair after pair of boots!
Naturally I made my way over to Netaporter to check out what they (already) had in store.
Burberry - Buckled leather ankle boots $750
Alexander McQueen - Buckle detail leather boots $1,525
Lanvin - Knee high leather boots...
Kourtney Kardashian style
She’s been in NY with Scott these last few days and I’m (sort of) liking what I see…
Casual walk in the park with Mason. Hard to see the outfit. What I can see, I like. Simple but stylish enough.
And a night time look. This is great until you look at that back and see that she wore a bra with this beautiful, open back shirt.
Real talk.
This is one of my biggest pet peeves...
William Rast for Target !!
[William Rast Fall 2010]
I hope JT and Trace Ayala will bring the same urban chic vibe to their Target collab.
And lots of leather.
The reason I shy away from William Rast is the price. I never feel that the quality of the clothes justifies the price tag.
No word on price points yet.
I’m excited to see what they come up with.
Will be available December 19, 2010 through January 22,...
Hit or miss: Blake Lively in Chanel
Blake showed up at the premiere of ‘Twelve’ in this Chanel mini dress.
At first glance I hated it.
Now it’s growing on me.
What do you think?
No secret that I am obsessed with this Miu Miu print.
But.
Seriously Mischa?
House of Harlow keeps expanding...
Nicole Richie has added sunglasses to the line up.
This particular pair has been seen on Nicole herself a few times and is available @ Singer 22 for $125.
I appreciate the rather modest pricing of her line.
RE: Jaclyn Anthony Batllo cuff
A bunch of you have emailed me regarding the cuff, I thought I linked directly to her Etsy site but it’s possible I made a booboo.
You can purchase the gorgeous cuff (and also view Jaclyn’s other awesome items) here.
Kristen Stewart covers Elle (Belgium) // August...
I hate on Kristen Stewart on the reg but I was absolutely thrilled when I heard talk that she may be playing Lisbeth Salander in the adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
Oh and I like this spread of photos.
Parallel Universe
This morning the Zoe Report had a piece on cuffs.
And I was ecstatic because I think cuffs are an awesome way to update even the most snooziefest of outfits.
When I saw Zoe’s “parallel universe” pick I liked it but I immediately thought about my awesome Jaclyn Anthony cuff.
So I present my parallel universe to Zoe’s parallel universe.
Zoe’s pick (L): Ainsley...
Ashlee Simpson and her See by Chloe bag.
I think the See by Chloe line of accessories tend to slip under the radar.
The prices aren’t particularly appealing for an “affordable” contemporary brand.
And, real talk, if you’re going to drop that kind of money on a “designer” purse - go for the Alexander Wang.
But.
I am a fan of Ashlee Simpson’s...
Why yes, you are reading that correctly.
Magnolia Bakery has finally opened up its first Los Angeles location!

More from Gisele Bündchen for Roberto Cavalli
I was rather surprised to hear that they were going for such a big name in their latest ad campaign. After seeing the photos, it’s quite clear that they knew what they were doing.
Amazing.
And definitely one of my favorite ad campaigns.
Move over Acne.
I’ve got my eye on these absolutely mind blowing Givenchy calf hair ankle boots.
5.5 inches of fun. Just imagine the possibilities come fall.
$1,190 @ Netaporter
I was floooded and flooded by requests for an ID of Dree’s skirt at the Eclipse screening a few weeks back.
Sadly I didn’t have an answer, and while I still don’t have an exact match I do have a similar option:
All Saints - Gregory Skirt, $150 @ All Saints
I’ve always had a soft spot for Australian label Sass & Bide.
After seeing their latest offerings, I totally remember why.
Their designs are inspired, effortless, fun and completely must-have list worthy.
RE: Kim's dress
The dress is Parker - Double flared sleeve dress, $209 @ Shopbop
It’s not available in the same print as Kim’s…or at least not yet.
I really love the dress in her print and have no doubt that it would looks less slooty and more NicRich or Rachel Zoe on someone with less boobies.
Or at least someone who wants to show less boobies.
And those of you who asked about her shoes:...
Jessica Biel promotional style
“The A Team” premiered in London.
Biel wore a stunnystunner, gorgeous Giambattista Valli dress.
She is quite the GV fan as she wore a Fall 2010 look earlier this year to the MTV Movie Awards.
I’m a little surprised that she wore black undies. I kind of want to like it, but then I’m digusted by how totally déclassé it is…especially for a movie premiere.

A little glimpse at the place Jane calls home…

Looks like Gossip Girl stylists love Suno just as much as I do!
I was thrilled to see the salmon wide leg trousers on Blake Lively (on set in Paris) but am even more excited to see that they are using Suno again.
Jessica Szohr donned a pair of shorts from the Spring 2010 collection while on set in NY.
Don’t care for the way this is styled.
At all.
But how I adore Suno.
When I saw these photos of Jessica Biel promoting “The A Team” in Madrid, it wasn’t hard to pick out her Vionnet dress.
Vionnet is also responsible for Cameron Diaz’s incredible black/white mini dress from the Bordeaux premiere of her film “Knight and Day.”
Both dresess are from their Resort 2011 collection.
Nice to see them get some red carpet exposure.
This black dress is anything but ordinary.
Angelina Jolie’s stunning black, backless, high slited Versace dress is incredible.
I just glanced over it earlier in the post about her promotional tour, but it clearly deserves a little more than that.
Versace gown #2 was worn to the Tokyo premiere.
[The first being the red gown from the Moscow premiere]
If you live in NY...

Paris Hilton loves Hervé Léger.
She wore two different HL dresses out partying during her European vacation last week.
Both from the Spring 2010 collection.
I kind of miss seeing LC.
Her California girl style has always ranked amongst my favorites.
Kept it low key while shopping at the HL store in denim shorts, a grey hoodie and her Miu Miu purse.
Angelina Jolie has been busy promoting “Salt.”
I have loved her promotional looks, starting with the Armani mini at the Los Angeles premiere.
Lots of black, as usual, but one of the stand outs is obviously the red Atelier Versace gown she wore for the Moscow premiere.
I was in love with these Chanel jelly sandals when I saw them on Katy Perry a few months back.
Now they’ve turned up on Eva Longoria and I’m pretty sure I will have to make them my own by end of summer.
Cameron Diaz keeps its casual yet chic in Paris.
Love both of these looks.
I tend to forget about Cameron because we don’t see too much of her but there’s something to be said for her unfussy style.
Summer style: Kim Kardashian
Definitely slootier than I would typically wear, but this is well executed and I love the print of the dress.
Victoria Beckham covers Vogue (Turkey) // August...
Black and white is such a great, classic combination.
I was beyond thrilled by Cameron’s look for the Bordeaux premiere of “Knight and Day”
Compared to the Stella McCartney sweater dress, this Vionnet Rresort 2011 dress is incredible.
Compared to anything this is incredible.
Nice work Brad.
Blake Lively sent all the geeks into a seizure by showing up at Comic Con in this Preen Resort 2011 ensemble.
Blake loves her boobylish outfits.
Whatevs.
I dig it.

An under the radar Targer collaboration
Dolce Vita has designed a line of shoes for Target.
Oddly enough, the collection will hit the new Harlem location at its opening on Sunday and release in other stores August 22.
Included in the collection: gray studded oxfords ($29.99), black buckle ankle boots and black lace up boots (both $34.99). Also a few pairs of flats (obvs not pictured).
Rather underwhelmed.
[except for the studded...
I have never been a huge fan of Alexander McQueen purses.
No real reason, they just don’t seem to tickle my fancy.
This purse, however, is gorgeous.
Not entirely convinced that I would carry it anywhere…
but how lovely to own and simply admire.
[Alexander McQueen - Skull Wings Quilted Medium Hobo; $1,995 @ Saks]
The Row sunglasses
While I think the collection of cool basics that the little gremlins designed is lovely, I also think it is too over priced.
Even for my over priced loving ass.
When I heard that their sunglasses (made in collaboration with Linda Farrow) would retail for $325, I was surprised.
Now $325 for sunglasses isn’t cheap but I was expecting an absurd pricetag.
You know.
Since their clothes are...
