Fall must have: over the knee boots
I’m on the prowl.
Big time.
I know I want a heeled paired for extra ooomph and a flat pair for days when being 5’3 sounds nice a four inch heel just isn’t practical.
[is it ever practical?]
I also know that while the Louboutin, Burberry Prorsum, etc, etc versions are to die for, I’m not going to drop upwards of 2k for a single pair of boots.
[i’m crazy but i gotta draw the line, albeit thin, somewhere]
So here are my current favorites:
- Dolce Vita - Braeden suede thigh high (!) boots, $302 @ Shopbop

- Stuart Weitzman - Vigor bold high heel over the knee boots, $695 @ Shopbop

- Rock & Republic - Able over the knee boots, $525 @ Shopbop
The wedged Stuart Weitzman pair is probably my #1 right now but I’m having trouble committing to the $800 price tag. I think the color is gorgeous and I adore suede. Not far behind are the Dolce Vita and Sam Edelman pairs which are pretty fairly priced. Finally, Rock & Republic is definitely bringing the heat with this awesome wedge pair with a 5” + heel…definitely not for the faint of heart.
