Sniff sniff…

I am a scent snob.

If there’s one thing I pride myself on it is smelling not only delicious but unique.

I run from from the mass produced bottles that fill department stores.

It might sound awfully pretentious, in fact it easily ranks in the most pretentious things about me.

But I really do place a lot of importance in how I smell.

There is nothing like walking into a room and being greeted by a scent so intoxicating you need to seek out the person wearing it.

I’m usually the person you’re looking for.

It all started with Creed.

An over priced line of delicious elixirs.

I have been wearing Virgin Island Water as my “signature scent” for a number of years now but have decided to retire it as my go-to.

I went a little crazy and ordered $50 worth of perfume samples from Lucky Scent.

Lucky Scent is an amazing online retailer of “boutique” perfumes. One of the best things about LS is that they offer you the option to buy little vials of precious potions to try before you commit to $250 for 10 ml (yes, a third of an ounce).

I will be detailing my experience with each of the samples and will (hopefully) end up with a new favorite scent.

I wanted to introduce the idea before just jumping into a whole narrative about some random perfume…

Stay tuned.
