Isn’t it strange to think that someone can win an election but be flat out denied their presidency? I don’t know TOO much about what is going on in Iran, but just that simple idea is so foreign that it seems impossible. It’s a difficult situation: does Mousavi continue to sacrifice his followers by encouraging them to protest and clash with the authorities or does he concede (despite winning fair and square) to some self entitled asshole who believes he should be in charge? And how does this even happen in this day and age? It’s so frustrating.
